The Discourse in Europe regarding America has not been very energetic due to the heightened tensions in America following the Policies of Former President Donald Trump. Tension among Trump and the mere American European Policies and foreign Relations have been precarious and foolish. The Riots that occurred in the French Capital after the Policies of Former President Donald Trump Make Policies and Implementation Precarious at best on a European Scale. Regardless of Trump’s imposing methods, the Europeans continue holding a deep degree of negative perception regarding Americans, fuelled even more due to the added tension from the East. Among all nations in Europe hostile sentiment

has been growing more so and this was brought forward by the ‘Trump’ Administrations Ill fated decision making. *Sigh* So essentially most of Europe fancies taking undue refuge by shooting blank bullets at America in futile attempts to vent out their depression whilst they themselves face immense division within on a social scale.

Trade and the Economic Collapse

If I had to name one of the noticeable champions of Anti-American sentiment in Europe, the Self Declared Economic master of the world and currently spending a lot of time away from the European Union undoubtedly takes the lead. The announcement of Tariffs for their Aluminum and Steel made for red carpet treatment in America and subsequently, set fire to strenuous tension between the United States and Europe. In every key European Sector, and Economy, be it: Manufacturing of automobiles or Agriculture, the European Industries had far less Insurance with Legal and Economic Barriers. Moreover, a great number of them suffered greatly: Business People as well as working class wage earners clearly want some fresh healthy air to survive the Ill fated decisions taken by trump.

NATO and Security Concerns

The European frustration which Trump was already amplifying, was only compounded with his more scathing attacks on NATO allies for failing to meet defense spending benchmarks. His threat to withdraw U.S. support from NATO sparked fear regarding the fate of European security, especially in Eastern Europe which is largely dependent on American military support to ward off Russian aggression. Europeans were outraged towards his position, seeing it as a blatant affront to decades of alliance cooperation and solidarity.

Indeed, while NATO is still functioning, the more worrying aspect of Trump’s language is impacting the way Europeans conceptualize their security. For example, in France and Germany, there is an attempt to pursue European defense self-sufficiency which is deeply motivated by a belief that Europe needs to learn to live without American promises, or at least prepare for that possibility.

Diplomatic Tensions and Global Perception

Moreover, Trump’s approach to international relations is one of the reasons that fueled the negative image of the U.S. in Europe. The U.S.’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord and the Iran nuclear deal, two global agreements, triggered a profound discontent amongst European capitals. His critics believe this is a divergence from the multilateral framework and is emblematic of a much more isolationist inclined U.S. foreign policy.

Notably, Trump’s support for Europe’s right-wing populist movements exacerbated divisions. His warm relations with Hungary’s Viktor Orbán and his commendation of Brexit were seen as attempts to undermine the European Union, which is one of Trump’s rivals along with America.

ANTICIPATED RAMIFICATIONS AND THE FUTURE OF RELATIONS BETWEEN THE USA AND EUROPE

Trump may have left the office, but the consequences of his policies are still affecting the way European people view America. The growth of anti-Americanism has already resulted in some actors in Europe calling for greater self-sufficiency economically and geopolitically. Some of the European politicians intend to shift business relations towards China and other major countries for the sole purpose of decreasing dependence on the US.

U.S.-European relations will be shaped by how the current U.S. government manages these unresolved issues. Although there has been some initial diplomatic activity aimed at re-establishing confidence, the increase in European disillusionment with the United States indicates that Europe has suffered a lot during the Trump era, and reversing this deterioration will require considerable time.
